4 years ago, POLYComp designed and manufactured a pre-programmed electronic Salaah-Time display for the muslim community in South Africa. This electronic prayer board is a unique product and most suitable for the special requirements of the muslim communities throughtout the world.
The stand alone display has proven to be a reliable and acceptable means of recording and displaying our daily Salaah times and other important times to muslim communities and is rapidly becoming a standard feature in masjids.
There are many different formats and layouts for the prayer boards, and many colours, and shapes available for your mosque.
This specialised display and software has been developed with reliability and accuracy in mind, and provides an extremely useful facility to observe Prayers accurately and timely.
The Prayer Board microcontroller can store more than a year's worth of Salaat times, will automatically update itself using its internal clock, and can be easily managed using an Excel spreadsheet or using the RMSP-100 infra-red keyboard.
Optional, and specialised software solutions, can provide the ability to accurately calculate prayer times, using a database of over 1200 cities in 216 countries, and five different Islamic conventions, while new locations can easily be added.
