Lightweight LED screen unveiled

A company has designed a lightweight LED screen that it believes will appeal to advertisers.Developed by LAADtech, the LED screen is 25 per cent lighter than others on the market.Peter Inglis, team leader at the company, states that the screens can be easily attached to existing billboards and once working do not need extensive structural support to be held in place.

Supermarket installs LED lighting

A leading supermarket chain is the first to install LED lights into its freezer areas.Supplied by Royal Philips Electronics, up to 350 of Sainsbury's stores will be fitted with LED lighting in its freezers.Philips has remarked that the LED technology is to save the supermarket up to 75 per cent in energy.
