Fairytale chance for south Yorkshire
Plans for a new £250 million theme park in south Yorkshire could present new opportunities for LED single line displays in future.
The attraction, which could create some 3,500 jobs, will be based on the work of children's author Hans Christian Andersen, the Sheffield Star reports.
Developers are currently looking into the scheme and have identified four potential sites for the 240-acre park in the county.
The region's well-established transport links with Robin Hood Airport are one of the main draws for the firm behind the park proposals, Hans Christian Andersen Theme Park Centre UK.
It is believed that construction for the theme park, which includes a 750-seater theatre and 3,500-capacity concert hall, could start in June next year with a completion date before London 2012 Olympic games.
Danish children's author Hans Christian Andersen - who wrote in the 19th century - is famed for titles including The Little Mermaid and The Ugly Duckling.
