Testimonials

We have continued to use Polycomp displays in our ever expanding quest to inform our customers of ferry times and boarding information and we will continue to do so. With such reliable units service and support is rarely needed but there service and support is un rivalled.

Rockefeller tree adorned with LED lights

Rockefeller tree adorned with LED lights A donated Christmas tree laden with LED lights will this year take pride of place at New York's Rockefeller Center.

The tree has been donated by Bob and Bill Varanyak who have owned it since 1931.

Just seven-feet tall when the brothers planted it in their garden the tree now measures 72-feet in height and eight tonnes in weight.

Workers at the Rockefeller Center have successfully positioned the tree in time for its Christmas display.

The tree is so large that scaffolding has been erected around its base to stabilise it and add decorations.

Up to five miles of wire is needed to accommodate the 30,000 LED lights which will decorate the tree.

A crystal star will rest on top of the tree and will be turned on with the LED lights during the first week of December.

LED lights have been used on the Rockefeller Center's tree since 2007 in order to use less energy and be greener than previous years.
