Flagship shop displays LED screens
A major footwear company has launched a flagship outlet featuring LED screens.
Skechers recently opened its largest store in San Francisco which measures 7,500 square feet.
The installation of LED screens is expected to draw customers into the shop which has room to display up to 20,000 pairs of shoes.
Some 800 styles of footwear will be available at any one time for men, women, and children.
Two LED screens measuring 12-foot by 4-foot are displayed in the shop in addition to an array of plasma screens.
Michael Greenberg, president of the company, believes the new technology and Art Deco style of the building will appeal to customers.
"It is in an unbelievably beautiful building that both reflects the brand's image and furthers its reputation," he said.
"The consumers that shop for our footwear and apparel in this store will be in for an incredible experience."
Barcelona Airport recently installed LED boards in order to boost advertising revenue.
