Football scoreboards show win for Spurs in Carling Cup
Football scoreboards at Wembley read 2-1 in Spurs' favour on Saturday as the north London side beat Chelsea to win the Carling Cup.
Tottenham had to wait until extra-time for Jonathan Woodgate to steal the silverware for Juande Ramos' side, with a header in the 94th minute.
Didier Drogba took the lead for Chelsea in the first half of the match with a 20-yard free-kick, before Spurs fought back with a penalty from Dimitar Berbatov twenty minutes from time.
Woodgate's winning goal came after Chelsea keeper Petr Cech punched a Jenas free kick onto his head, giving Spurs their fourth League Cup and first major trophy win since 1999.
It also marks the sixth cup success for Spurs' coach Ramos in 21-months, who previously managed Spanish side Sevilla.
"It's been a long time since Tottenham has achieved success like this. The team has been improving little by little in terms of security and confidence," Ramos said after the game.
"The recent games against Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have shown this."
