LED screens installed for Wembley's Tailgate party

LED screens installed for Wembley's Tailgate party LED screens were installed at a National Football League party held in London's Wembley Arena.

Up to 20,000 people were entertained at the recent event which preceded a football match between the US's New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers.

The Tailgate party featured a host of performances that were beamed to the audience via LED screens.

Visitors to the event got to see a Mardi Gras parade and a jazz band perform in close-up due to the LED boards.

The boards were kept in place when the football match kicked off later in the day which allowed fans to keep track of all the action.

Alistair Kirkwood, managing director of NFL UK, said: "I think it went as well as it could go. There was a great atmosphere and a really good crowd got behind both teams.

"We will be talking to the league over the next few weeks and will look to get the teams confirmed for next year so we can make an announcement."

Italian football club, ACF Fiorentina, recently revealed it had installed LED screens in its Artemio Franchi Stadium in order to boost spectators viewing experience.
