New LED scoreboard for Dallas Cowboys
A giant 180-foot-long digital scoreboard is being assembled at the new Dallas Cowboys stadium in Arlington, USA.
The high definition Mitsubishi Electric Diamond Vision LED scoreboard will hang directly over the surface of the pitch.
It will stretch from one 20-yard line to the other and is set to be the largest LED high-definition video display in the world.
The construction consists of four video displays, two main sideline displays (72 feet high by 160 feet wide) and two end-zone LED displays (29 feet high by 51 feet wide).
Construction manager Jack Hill told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram: "They'll assemble the scoreboard on the ground, and then with jacks they'll jack it up in the air, and it will dead-hang about 90 feet off the surface of the field."
Mitsubishi Electric will also fit nearly three-quarters of a mile of Diamond Vision LEDerAd fascia to the stadium.
At almost 3,600 feet these ribbons will circle the stadium and add an extra dimension to the atmosphere.
