New LED scoreboard for Somerset Patriots

New LED scoreboard for Somerset Patriots The Somerset Patriots have hit a home run by adding a sophisticated LED display system at their 6,100-seater Commerce Bank Ballpark home for the 2008 season.

The Minor League Baseball team have installed a high definition scoreboard standing at approximately 35 feet wide by 13 feet high, which has seven-panels for at-bat, ball, strike, out, runs, hits, and error statistics.

The screen will present crystal clear video images of live and recorded action, as well as keeping fans entertained with colourful animations and vivid graphics.

"We felt that this was a great time to install the new state-of-the-art video and scoreboard to add to our fans' enjoyment of the Somerset Patriots experience," said Patrick McVerry, general manager and president of the club.

The Patriots, Atlantic League champions in 2001, 2003 and 2005, will get their season up and running tomorrow evening in a game against Maryland Blue Crabs.ADNFCR-1437-ID-18566354-ADNFCR
