Testimonials

Our new electronic displays really help, before the displays, the visitors made their way to the nearest ride or the most popular. This created large queues on some, but no waiting on other rides, but with the introduction on the boards visitors are better infromed, making a more enjoyable day for all

Portage gets new football scoreboard

Portage gets new football scoreboard The town of Portage in Pennsylvania, USA, has had a new football scoreboard installed in its Mustangs' stadium.

Former Portage Mustangs player Tyler Trimbath was behind fundraising, which meant the football scoreboard did not cost anything for either the school's district or taxpayers, reports the Tribune-Democrat.

It is a state-of-the-art video screen and measures 43 feet in width by 38 feet in height.

The total cost of the project was $115,000 (£62,245) including installation fees.

"Ten months ago, we found out we needed a new scoreboard," Mr Trimbath told the newspaper.

"We wanted to make it unique."

Mr Trimbath is a member of the school board and was given permission by the school district to raise the money separately, and found the solution via advertisers, with 100 per cent of the costs coming from them.

He had played at free safety and split end for the Mustangs between 2001 and 2004.
