Video boards crucial for ski race
Video boards proved vital for some of the globe's best skiers recently at the International Ski Federation's (FIS) World Cup in Canada.
High-resolution full-colour outdoor video screens were used at the events in the Canadian Rockies, Panorama, British Columbia and Lake Louise, Alberta in November.
The video displays allowed competitors to immediately verify their times after crossing the finish line and check their placing, marketwirepr.com reports.
Spectators were also able to view individual times for finishers and keep up to date with the progress of their favourite skiers on the slopes.
Video display boards, countdown screens and scoreboards can enhance sporting events and provide useful information for both competitors and supporters.
