LED screens incorporated on buses

LED screens incorporated on buses Buses in two US cities will be among the first to have LED screens fitted to their external areas for advertising purposes.

Introduced by Titan Worldwide, Chicago and New York buses are to be the only ones in North America to bear the 12-foot LED boards.

The screens are all integrated with GPS technology that enables the LED display to adapt its advertisements depending on where the bus is.

In addition, displays will be time sensitive and are to change throughout the day.

Don Allman, chief executive of Titan Worldwide, stated that he is pleased with the LED technology.

"We are proud to be introducing North America's first dynamic digital bus displays and the first transit network of this scale anywhere in the world," he said.

"We now offer advertisers a new flexibility with total control over when and where their messages can be targeted."

The company helps businesses advertise using a variety of locations such as bridges, phone boxes and billboards.
